TekPanel Wall System
TekPanel is composed of durable thermoplastic. It is waterproof and may be hosed down or cleaned with soap and water. A non-petroleum based product such as Fantastic may be used if necessary. TekPanel may also be cleaned by using a product such as a Swiffer duster. Abrasive products/cleaners should never be used to clean GarageTek products.
Wall Mount Accessories
GarageTek is the only garage system to earn the Maximum Strength Certification by Underwriter’s Laboratories (UL). As such, each GarageTek accessory has a UL rated weight capacity which is listed in our brochure on at www.garagetek.com. Be sure to only load the weight noted for each product. For items with a weight of more than 20 pounds, the accessory must be clipped into a row of the TekPanel wall that contains screws to ensure maximum weight capacities listed. Accessories with weight capacities less than 20 pounds can be clipped into any slot in the TekPanel. Adhere to all recommended weight capacities listed for each accessory on our web site at www.garagetek.com. GarageTek will not be responsible for incidental or actual damage caused by overloading or misuse of GarageTek products.
Cabinets
GarageTek’s standard PVC cabinets have a maximum weight capacity of 100 pounds per shelf. The maximum weight capacity for the cabinet bottom is 20 lbs. These cabinets are not intended for storage of flammable or caustic chemicals. To maintain the outside appearance of the cabinet spray with any household cleaner and wipe with a sponge.
